What is your light doing?
It came on and stays on steady
Usually a tyre is low. Check all four pressures against the sticker in the driver’s door frame and pump them up. If the light is still on after a short drive, it is likely a fault.
It flashes when I start the car, then stays on
That is how most cars show a system fault, very often a sensor with a flat battery. Pumping the tyres up will not clear it. It will also fail an MOT on cars first used from 2012.
It came on after new tyres or a wheel swap
A sensor may have been damaged, or the car has not learned the sensors in the other wheels. Programming often fixes it; a damaged sensor needs replacing.
Not sure it’s a sensor?
A TPMS diagnosis is £25. We find the fault, tell you what it needs and the price, and you decide.
How booking works
- Text or WhatsApp your registration and how many sensors, or a photo of the warning light if you are not sure.
- We confirm the price for your car and offer you a time.
- Bring the car in. We fit the sensors, program them and check the light has gone out.
